You can estimate needing approximately 100 square feet for every 10 guests for seating assuming you do 10 guests per 60" round. Using larger tables, or seating less guests per table, or using rectangular or farm-style tables may require more space. The addition of bars, buffet tables, cake tables, photo booths, lounge areas, dance floors, memorial or cake tables, dessert and coffee stations, escort card tables, and etc. will increase the tent size exponentially. Bands will advise you how much space they need for staging and this will increase tent size as well.

9' Westport Table (108"L x 42"W X 30"H)

These tables are finished wood designed to create the feeling of a farm-to-table dining experience and are more rustic. They do not require a linen and are often used with long runners or interesting chargers. Used for seating, they accommodate up to 10 guests (4 on each side, 1 at each end.)

Length of Linen - (Minus) Length of Table / (Divided) 2 = Drop


Ex. 90x156 Linen for a 96" x 30" (8') Banquet Table

156-96 = 60

60/2 = 30" Drop
